La Bella Vita Barge Cruise PhotosFrom: La Bella Vita Barge Cruise Review Day 2: Venice (afternoon)
After lunch, we had free time to explore Venice until La Bella Vita's scheduled departure time of 4 p.m.
In front of our berth on the Riva San Biagio, vu compra (illegal street vendors) sold counterfeit handbags to passing tourists.
Next to the yacht that was moored alongside La Bella Vita, a dog took a break on a stone bench.
As we walked along the waterfront toward the Biennale grounds
and Public Gardens, we saw two anglers fishing by the CroisiEurope river vessel
Michelangelo.
A Royal Caribbean cruise ship, Serenade of the Seas, approached and passed us on its way to the Marittima basin.
All too soon, it was time to return to La Bella Vita, where captain Rudy Toninato was already in the wheelhouse, preparing the ship for departure.
