Cape Clear Islandfrom Walking in Ireland
The ferry crossing from Baltimore to Cape Clear Island takes 45 minutes and operates year-round. The 100-passenger boat in the photo is the Naomh Ciarán II, which was built in 1982. Note: Since this photo was taken, the vessel has been replaced by two ferries operated by another company.
