Carrick-a-Rede

from Walking in Ireland

photo

Once you've reached Carrick Island on the far side of the Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge, you'll enjoy magnificent views of the coast, the sea, and wildlife--such as this razorbill seabird, which swims underwater in search of food.

Caution: Don't get too near the cliffs if you suffer from vertigo or the day is windy.
