Bird Cliffs of Spitsbergen - Fuglefjellet
We learned that Guillemots lay their eggs on shelves along the cliffs, then sit facing in one direction until the eggs are hatched. After the eggs hatch, the birds turn and face the other way. Note: If these images look blurry, there's a reason: They were cropped from telephoto shots that were taken from a bouncing boat. (The water was fairly calm near the cliffs, but there was enough swell to make photography tricky even with an image-stabilized camera.)
