This view of the monastery's west wing was photographed across the ruins of the old historic library and woadhouses. (The row of windows directly beneath the roof belong to guest rooms for tourists and religious visitors.)

Since this photo was taken, the Augustinerkloster has added a new--and jarringly modern--library wing in front of the historic building.
