Münster Photos

The Aasee isn't the only green space in central Münster. The Promenade, a green belt with separate bicycling and pedestrian paths, encircles the Altstadt and makes it easy for strangers to get from one part of the old town to another without getting lost. The total distance around the Altstadt is 4.8 km or 3 miles.

Inline skaters aren't ignored, either: Münster Rollt organizes skating events in and around the city, with the Schloss/Hindenburgplatz (in front of the castle) as the usual starting point.
