Austrian shopping hours
By law, most Austrian shops may be open only 66 hours a week.
Legal shopping hours are normally 6 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and
6 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays. However, the hours in the table below are more
typical.

In smaller towns and villages, shops may close for 1 to 3 hours at

Airports and the larger railroad stations usually have shops
where you can buy snacks, drinks, tobacco, and reading material after normal
business hours.
