The Tent
(Kapuzinerhölzl)
Looking for a different experience in the summer months or during Oktoberfest? From the railway station, travel 13 minutes
by U-Bahn to the Botanischer Garten stop and sleep in a huge tent with other
backpackers. (Or you can bring your own tent and still enjoy the new toilets,
showers, and self-service laundry facilities.)
Camping
Camping In and Around Munich These listings for the city and its
surroundings are from Munich's municipal Web site.
Wies'n-Camp
During Oktoberfest, you can save money by renting a tent at the Olympic Horse
Stadium--but you'll need to bring your own sleeping bag.
