Booking.com
The
Antica Locanda Montin is better-known as a restaurant than as a hotel, but
it does have a small number of traditionally-furnished rooms (some with bath,
some without).
The inn is located on a quiet fondamenta (a sidewalk facing a canal), and the restaurant serves meals in
a large garden during the warmer months.
How to reach the Antica Locanda Montin from the
Zattere airport-boat stop:
-
As you leave the Alilaguna
Linea Blu floating boat pier at Zattere, turn left and walk
along the waterfront past two ACTV vaporetto platforms and the Gelateria
Nico.
-
Cross the stone bridge and continue walking until you reach
the Calle Trevisan, which is a narrow street between two large palazzi.
-
Turn right and follow the Calle Trevisan to a stone bridge.
-
Cross the bridge, bear left, and turn onto the Fondamenta
Borgo (which is right before the bridge on your left).
-
The Antica Locanda Montin will be a short distance ahead of
you, facing the canal.
From the San Basilio cruise pier:
-
Leave the terminal by the main doors, walk straight ahead to
the wooden bridge, and cross the bridge.
-
Walk past the vaporetto stop and along the waterfront until
you reach the Calle Trevisan, which will be a narrow street on your left
between two large palazzi.
-
Follow directions 3, 4, and 5 above.
From the Marittima cruise terminals:
-
Take the Alilaguna Blue Line airport boat from the cruise
basin to the second stop (Zattere). The price will be about half of the fare
to the airport.
-
Follow the directions above.
