Walking directions to Hotel Ca' d'Oro (with map)
The three-star Hotel Ca' d'Oro is in the sestiere or district of Cannaregio, near the Rialto Bridge and within a 15- or 20-minute walk of the Piazza San Marco. Like other hotels in the neighborhood, the Hotel Ca' d'Oro is handy if you're arriving at Marco Polo Airport, because you can get off the Alilaguna airport boat at Fondamente Nove instead of taking the long way around the city to stops on the St. Mark's waterfront or the Grand Canal. The Ca' d'Oro has 27 rooms (including some doubles that are wheelchair-accessible), with accommodations that range from singles to junior suites. In good weather, you can enjoy views and fresh air on the rooftop terrace.
Below, you'll find our directions for walking to the hotel from Fondamente Nove platform "A," which is used by Alilaguna airport boats. (Alilaguna Linea Blu boats run from early morning until night, while a handful of Alilaguna Linea Arancio boats also stop at Fondamente Nove late in the evening.)
