Hotel Casanova

The Hotel Casanova is a four-star hotel near the Piazza San Marco, within a short walk of the Alilaguna Blue Line airport-stop at San Marco Giardinetti. From the boat, you'll need to cross only one small bridge on your way to the hotel.

The hotel itself is comfortable and well-equipped, with an elevator and a good selection of air-conditioned rooms and suites. You'll find plenty of bars, restaurants, and shops in the neighboorhood.

How to reach the Hotel Casanova from San Marco Giardenetti:

  1. As you leave the Alilaguna airport-boat station at San Marco Giardinetti, turn left and cross a small stone bridge.

  2. Continue a few meters to the Calle Vallaresso and turn right.

  3. Walk straight ahead down the Calle Vallaresso, past Harry's Bar and a row of designer shops.

  4. At the first corner, turn left and walk only a few steps to another street, the Frezzeria, that will go off to your right.

  5. Turn right into the Frezzeria and walk a short distance to the Hotel Casanova, which has a hanging sign. (See photo above.)

From the Marittima cruise terminals:

  1. Take the Alilaguna Blue Line airport boat from the cruise basin to the San Marco Giardinetti boat stop.

  2. Follow the directions above.
