The
Hotel dalla Mora
is a simple one-star hotel with a great setting: It faces a canal, with a
terrace overlooking the water. As a bonus, it's an easy walk from the Piazzale
Roma (where airport buses and taxis arrive) and tourist attractions such as the
Frari church and the Campo Santa Margherita, and it has a remarkable reputation
for a hotel in the budget category.
The hotel offers free Wi-Fi and
welcomes pets. (If you're bringing your dog, cat, bird, or boa, please say so in
the comment box on the booking form.)
Please note that some of the Hotel dalla
Mora's 15 single and double rooms have bathrooms down the hall.
How to reach Hotel dalla Mora from Piazzale Roma:
On the tree-lined side of the Piazzale Roma, look for the central path
that leads toward the water.
A canal is just beyond the trees. Continue straight ahead
over the stone footbridge.
Follow the curving path through the greenery on the other
side of the bridge and continue just past the Hotel Papadopoli Venezia to a
small bridge over the Tolentini Canal.
Cross the bridge and turn right onto the Fondamenta
Tolentini. Walk to the next corner.
At the corner, turn left onto the Fondamenta Minotto and
continue walking along the canal past the Hotel Al Sole.
After passing a bridge on your right, you'll enter a street
called the Salizada San Pantalon with buildings on both sides. Look for a
cross street on your right, the Calle Falier, and a sign pointing to the
hotel.
Turn right into Calle Falier. The hotel entrance will be a few doors down on your left.
