Walking directions to Locanda Fiorita (with map)
The one-star Locanda Fiorita is one of Venice's least-publicized hotel gems. It's a lovely, flower-bedecked building on a tiny square just off the Campo San Stefano near the Accademia Bridge. The Piazza San Marco is a 10-minute walk from the hotel. Rooms aren't luxurious, but they're furnished with taste and charm, and all have private baths. They also come with two admirable extras: the chance to enjoy breakfast outdoors in good weather, and free Wi-Fi throughout the premises. In short, the Locanda Fiorita ranks near the top of the scale for value--especially in the San Marco district, where hotel rates tend to be on the high side.
