Walking directions to Luna Hotel Baglioni (with map)
The five-star Luna Hotel Baglioni (see our illustrated review) is said to be Venice's oldest hotel, dating back to the Crusades. It's less flashy and more intimate than many of Venice's top luxury hotels, and it has a perfect location on the Bacino di San Marco just a few meters west of St. Mark's Square. Although the Luna Baglioni has its own landing for water taxis, it's also easy to reach on foot from the San Marco Giardinetti waterbus stop, which is served by airport boats of Alilaguna's Blue and Orange lines.
