The
SHG Hotel Salute
Palace faces a quiet canal in an upscale neighborhood of Dorsoduro, not
far from Venice's Basilica di
Santa Maria della Salute and the Peggy Guggenheim Collection.
The upmarket boutique hotel has a variety of room categories (including junior
suites with canal views). A restaurant, the Bistrò da Cici, is on the premises.
How to reach
the SHG Hotel Salute Palace by Alilaguna airport boat:
-

Marco Polo Airport to the Zattere stop, which is a few minutes beyond San
Marco.

Cross the bridge and keep walking along the waterfront to
the next bridge.
-
Cross this bridge and keep walking to a third bridge. (The
pavement will curve left as you walk.)
-
Cross this third bridge, then immediately turn left onto
the Fondamenta Fornace and walk along the canal. Keep walking straight ahead
for a couple of minutes until you reach the hotel.
From the San Basilio cruise terminal.
-
Leave the terminal by the main doors, which are at the end
of the building.
-
Cross the small wooden bridge.
-
Walk straight ahead along the Giudecca Canal, crossing four bridges. (The walk will take 10

minutes until you reach the hotel.
