Ospedale means "hospital," and the Ospedale ACTV waterbus stop is on the Fondamente Nove, immediately next to the ambulance piers at Venice's medical center.

To get medical treatment, simply leave the boat station and follow the signs to the hospital's emergency entrance, which you'll reach via a covered walkway.

Venice Hospital Emergency Room Important: If you're having a serious medical emergency, don't wait for a public water bus: Instead, phone 118 and request an ambulance in Italian, English, French, or German.

The Ospedale station is served by:

ACTV Lines 4.1, 4.2, 5.1, 5.2, 22 public water buses
Alilaguna Linea Blu airport boats

Note: Ospedale does not have a ticket booth or vending machine, so here's what to do if you need to board a water bus without a valid ticket or Tourist Travel Card.
