Look for your boat's route number before boarding, since Colonna has three pontili or boat platforms scattered along the island's southern tip. Hotels near the Colonna station include the six-room Murano Palace (B&B), which you can reach without crossing any bridges, and the Hotel Al Soffiador (two stars), a short walk inland from the Murano Faro vaporetto stop. Note: This station has a ticket booth that is open during business hours. It does not have a ticket machine, so read this if you're departing from Colonna without a ticket and the booth is closed.
